Talk the Walk,The Cleveland Way for Samaritans of Northallerton and The Dales
Northallerton Samaritans listening volunteer, Robin is walking The Cleveland Way to support rural well being and encourage conversations that can change lives.
On Sunday 26 July, I shall be leaving Helmsley to walk the Cleveland way, finishing on Saturday 1 August. This is a distance of 107 miles! I am walking The Cleveland Way to promote awareness of suicide not only in the rural and farming communities but also encourage conversation that could save lives.
WS Transportation are one of two sponsors of this Walk. They have supported me as an employee over the years - giving me time off to train to become a Samaratan volunteer; and now sponsoring this walk. I am grateful to them for enabling me to take the time to undertake the journey.
House of Torque, is a company owned by my eldest step son, William. He and his brother, John lost their father to suicide, at a young age, and they will inspire me throughout the walk. William has kindly sponsored this walk and providing accommodation for me along the route.
Please help our volunteers, and Robin, by making a donation as he walks The Cleveland Way this July.
