My Story
On May 11th, I’ll be taking on my first-ever marathon!
Training is as hard as I imagined, which is why I'd like to use it as an opportunity to raise awareness (and money!) for the Samaritans. Running a marathon is tough, but for many, making it through the day is even tougher.
The Samaritans is an incredible charity that offers a lifeline to those struggling with their mental health. Every 10 seconds, Samaritans answer a call from someone in crisis. Whilst a key part of the UK mental health service, they rely on donations to keep their support available 24/7. Helping people feel less alone at the toughest of moments.
My Mum volunteered which is why I have selected the Mid Cheshire branch to raise funds.
My work will match donations up to £500 so any support is greatly appreciated and will be doubled by the Bank!
Thanks Filly xx
