My Story

I'm going to be 60 this year and I'm doing some things I've never done and some things I haven't finished to remind myself that I need to be brave. So, on or around 19th July 2025, I'm doing a tandem skydive from a small plane at 10,000 feet in the air. My husband is coming too.

As an Affiliated Branch, we at Bromley and Orpington Samaritans are responsible for our own fundraising, which goes towards keeping the lights on and the beverages hot while we take calls from people in their darkest hours. You can call us on 116 123 and talk to a human volunteer, who will listen without judgment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, hence my donation amount.

I'm honoured and proud to be Bromley and Orpington Samaritans' current Branch Director and to be dedicating this jump to our wonderful volunteers.
