My Story
Milking It For Money is a staff student group within the University of Chester’s School of Law and Social Justice. Milking It For Money (MIFM) aims to raise money for charity and raise awareness around mental health and wellbeing. We are delighted to say that Niel Gillard, one of the lecturers from the School of Law and Social Justice, has agreed to support our efforts to raise money in support of the Samaritans. Here’s a message from Niel.
“Hi everyone, I will be running the Chester Marathon with my friend Alex Challenor. We both play basketball recreationally for the Cheshire Brewers and have decided to challenge ourselves to complete a marathon and raise funds for charity. In preparation for the marathon, we have completed the Chester 10K, Cheshire Half Marathon, and trained regularly each week building up to the full marathon. Training has been very challenging, but we are looking forward to the final challenge. We would both be extremely grateful if you would be willing to support us in the huge challenge and support a charity that does so much for the local area and beyond.”
