My Story
Six members of our Wigan team are taking on the Blackburn 10k on 30th November, aiming to raise £600 together for the Samaritans.
Together, our Wigan team continuously undertakes a range of different fundraising activities to raise money for Samaritans, in memory of their colleague Anthony Rodden.
Anthony started working with NRL in May 2021 and quickly fitted into the Wigan branch team. He was always there with a friendly smile, a quirky joke and an offer of a brew – Anthony’s cheerful nature was infectious. He has been sorely missed, and the whole team wanted to do some fundraising in his name and to highlight the great work that the Samaritans do.
