My Story

Hi and thankyou for visiting my page to raise funds for the Samaritans of Solihull.

I think we've probably all heard of the Samaritans and know a little bit about what we do.

I think though you may be surprised just how many people use us at the difficult times in their lives. Life can be  challenging. We are always here, 24/7 on the phones , on email , on live chat and even still by post.

Many of us have been touched by the effects of mental health, depression and suicide. Help us to continue the work we do to support anyone and everyone at low times by simply being there.

We're here every day and night of the year for anyone struggling to cope. We make sure people have somewhere to turn and support when they need it most. We work with communities to let people know we're here for them and we campaign to make suicide preventation a priority.
