My Story

Each Christmas, Saints’ Singers (an upper voice community choir based in Winterton) fundraises for a charity at their Christmas performances. This year we have chosen to support the brilliant work of Scunthorpe Samaritans. 

At Scunthorpe Samaritans, they are dedicated to providing vital support to individuals who are feeling upset, overwhelmed, or struggling to cope with life's challenges, including those experiencing suicidal thoughts. Their commitment to helping others is reflected in the fact that Samaritans' answer a call every 6 seconds and respond to thousands of emails every year.

This year, they are proudly celebrating 60 years of Scunthorpe Samaritans - a significant milestone that reflects their  longstanding dedication to the community.
