My Story

I’m running the London Marathon in support of the Samaritans Derby & District branch. My mum volunteers with the Samaritans, and through her I’ve seen first-hand the incredible dedication, compassion, and strength it takes to support people who are struggling.

The Samaritans offer a lifeline to anyone who needs someone to listen—day or night, without judgment. Their volunteers give their time, their empathy, and their hearts to help people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

By running the London Marathon, I want to raise awareness of the crucial support the Samaritans provide and help ensure they can continue being there for anyone who needs them. Every donation, no matter the size, helps the Derby & District branch keep their lines open and their support strong.
