im in shock! 
smashed the 4th target in record time...so as a final

pysh I am missing a milestone out and going for £400 a Mike which is an incredible £10480

UPDATE 4. 
I am in awe of you lovely lot...thank you! 
I am upping my target for the fifth time!! 
I am now reaching for £300 a mile which is £7860! 
I would just love to reach this by the end of today.

UPDATE 3!

OH MY GOODNESS...I am having to up my target again...because of all YOU lovely lot...thank you so much!

I am now going to go for £250 a mile...which is a massive £6650!

Knowing that I am raising £250 for every single mile I run is just such a lovely feeling...especially as a Samaritan (almost finished training) I know first hand just want that money means.

So if you are visiting here, please do give what you can...the fact that you have been arsed really does mean so much.

UPDATE - WOW thank you as we smashed the intital target of £2620 (£100 a mile) in 48 hours!!

It would be rude not to increase that to £150 a mile (a total target of £3930) given the generosity of everyone choosing to sponsor me and donate.

So please do donate...it means such a lot. Please leave a message with your donation as I read them all, and I do think of them when I am out running, especially when I am struggling!!)

The reason why I am here...

I went and got a place in the ballot for The London Marathon.

As I have trained to become a Samaritan in 2024 I have decided to raise money for my local branch Lancaster District.

Being a Samaritan is very different to what I do in my day job...as I can't just tell someone to just Get Over Themselves!! 

My training for the Samaritans, (and the London Marathon for that matter!) has been challenging, but enjoyable.

I have learnt so much, becoming a Samaritan, and my eyes have been well and truly opened to just how many people are struggling and what a hugely important service the Samaritans offer
