Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. We're asking for your help to keep us listening - one day at a time.

It costs £100 a day to run and maintain our branch. This includes renting the building in St John's Hill, covering bills, stocking up on tea and coffee, paying for the computer system we use to answer calls, training our volunteers (we recruit and train more than 30 each year) and sending outreach volunteers to colleges, food banks, prisons and railway stations.

We're hoping to raise £5000 from this important fundraising campaign - please help us reach our target, by donating £100.

All the money needed to run Sevenoaks Samaritans is raised by volunteers; most of it comes from people like you, who want to support us as we answer calls for help.

Sevenoaks Samaritans will have been established for five years in October 2025 and we have to date recruited over 160 listening and support volunteers. Listening volunteers provide emotional support to those in emotional distress who contact Samaritans including those having suicidal thoughts. Our volunteers are recruited primarily from Sevenoaks and the surrounding area and in 2024 we provided nearly 12000 shift hours.
